Tampa, FL ---- The organizers of the 16th annual Gasparilla International Film Festival are announcing today that "HAMMER" has been officially selected for the upcoming festival and will compete for Grand Jury and Audience Awards. Showtimes for "HAMMER" are yet to be determined at the Historic Tampa Theater in Tampa, FL.
"Hammer" stars Eric Roberts who plays an unsuspecting husband who walks in on a world of trouble. “Hammer” is narrative thriller filmed in a single-shot format (similar to “Rope”, “Birdman” and “1917”) and takes audiences on a short thrilling journey with our main character. Orlando Cicilia III Directed and Produced the film.
“HAMMER” has received numerous accolades thus far including winning awards for Best Horror Short Film, Best Actor for Eric Roberts' performance and nominated for Best Cinematography.

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Orlando Cicilia III, is a passionate writer, producer and director. Right out of college, Orlando founded his media and production agency, OC3 Productions, which has been successfully operating for over a decade. Orlando's work spans commercials, music videos, digital content, television programming and documentary/feature films. Orlando's initial film,"Lionheart", which he produced, wrote and composed music for, was a critically acclaimed project winning Audience and Grand Jury awards throughout its exclusive national festival run. "Lionheart" is in development to become a feature film. Orlando is also producing various other film and tv projects that are in development.
